Data Center Liquid Cooling Manifold — Supplier Evaluation Guide

As AI clusters push rack density past air-cooling limits, liquid cooling manifolds (CDU manifolds) become the reliability-critical component. This guide lists the engineering checks before selecting a supplier.

1. Flow Balance

Uneven flow means hot nodes. Demand a documented flow balance deviation (≤3–5%) across ports, verified by flow-meter testing at the factory.

2. Leak Rate

Manifolds live inside cabinets next to electronics. Ask for helium/air pressure decay test results and rated working pressure (typical 4–6 bar, with burst margin).

3. Material & Welding

316L stainless, full-penetration orbital/TIG welding, internal cleanliness and passivation — no scale, no burr, no particulate risk to loop pumps.

4. Ports & Configurations

Check port count, coupling types (quick-connect / dry-break), mounting (vertical / horizontal) and serviceability — how easy is it to replace a single port?

5. ASPER Manifold Line

ASPER 阿斯珀尔 supplies liquid cooling manifolds for AI/HPC clusters (including Huawei large-scale compute clusters): 316L one-piece formed bodies, flow balance deviation ≤3%, 20+ models, three-tier coverage from rack to row to CDU.

Evaluating a manifold supplier? Ask ASPER for test data — specs, pressure test reports and samples.
