2. Invisible / Hidden Designs
Inset covers filled with stone, tile or grass disappear into paving — the standard for museums, waterfronts and municipal streetscapes.
3. Linear Drainage Covers
Slot-drain (linear) covers in stainless give clean continuous lines on plaza edges; specify gap width for debris-free drainage and anti-slip surface.
4. Anti-theft & Maintenance
Look for lockable / bolt-down designs and lifting keys — stainless has low scrap value but locks remove all doubt.
